Chris Chapman

Chris Chapman

Company Director
Chris started BLT logistics in 2014. He has spent most of his life in transport and has a wealth of knowledge. Starting out as a driver before moving onto management at Suttons Transport (Widnes) Ltd, which saw him perform the role of driver trainer on the British Sugar contract. With a long list of logistical qualifications, Chris has been at the helm of BLT steering this growing company in the right direction.

In his down time Chris enjoys cooking and spending time with family.

Jeff Maslin

General Manager - BLT Logistics Services
After completing 11 years in the Royal Navy Submarine Service Jeff has had various roles but finally settled in the Recruitment Sector.  Starting as a trainee, Jeff has become a highly successful and a motivated manager with a wealth of knowledge within the recruitment sector. Built up over 18 years in the Logistics and Industrial sectors. An accomplished relationship builder, conversant at all levels with an excellent track record in both New Business Development & Organic Growth along with being an accomplished Class 1 LGV driver.

In his spare time, he enjoys golf, travelling and spending time with his grandchildren.

Phil Souter-Smith

Trainer
Phil is an experienced trainer and a qualified driving examiner for the Ministry of Defence. Having spent 22 years as a driver, trainer and transport manager in the military Phil brings a wide range of skills and experience to BLT.

Phil joined BLT at the start of 2018 and is qualified to teach all the courses that we offer.

Dawn Benton

Dawn Benton

Finance Manager
Dawn is the Finance Manager for the company. She has worked with BLT since day one. Dawn’s main responsibility is to looks after the accounts for the company. Her other roles include looking after the BLT’s key accounts. She books training and produces all relevant documents for the clients. Dawn is the administrator for all the company accreditations.

Dawn enjoys gardening, cooking and spending quality time with her son Will, watching him play at football matches.

Sharon Pascucci

Sharon Pascucci

Sales & Marketing
Sharon is the company’s Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator for BLT. She looks after all customer enquiries for the company. Her role includes liasing with new, existing clients for all their training requirements. Sharon also goes out and about in the BLT’s sign written van, visiting clients.  She works closely with Chris to ensure we meet our FORS customers questions and needs.
Her other role is creating magic on our social media accounts, planning our upcoming events and marketing strategies and continuing the development of our brand-new website.

In her spare time Sharon, enjoys good food, country shows, spending time with family and friends, swimming and walking.

Louise Hannah

Louise Hannah

Transport Manager
Louise has been in the transport industry since 2014 with her husband, having a haulage business.  After passing the TM CPC in 2016, Louise went onto pass Class 2 in 2017. Louise is BLT’s Transport Manager and is responsible for WTD, driver infringments, maintenance records etc. She also works with Chris on all the FORS compliances and audits not just for BLT but external companies too.

Louise enjoys spending time with family and motorhoming with them.  She is excellent at baking (cheesecake is an office winner!) and enjoys shoppping.

Nicole Maslin

Nicole Maslin

Transport Planner
Nicole has been around the transport industry since she was a youngster with her Dad, having worked in haulage.  Nicole is BLT’s Transport Planner and is responsible for booking in the work for the companies fleet.  As well as making sure the drivers are in their WTD, Nicole is also responsible for the POD’s and relevant paperwork. She works alongside with Louise making sure all the transport compliance is adhered too.

Nicole enjoys spending time with her partner and her 2 year old daughter, Poppy.  She enjoys cooking, shoppping and going for days out with the family.
